HealthBox includes a built in food manager that allows connected services to manage a shared database of foods.

While HealthBox is designed to allow custom services and application to securely access your health information, it still comes with a full suite of data management tools if you can't find a suitable external service to use.

HealthBox is a convenient and private way to manage health information. Instead of each app having to record health data within its own ecosystem, HealthBox creates a place for developers to centralize health information. Say you have a program that records your steps, one that monitors workouts, and a third program to track your food intake. Typically, if you wanted to access your information, you'd have to use each respective service's interface. With HealthBox, those developers are able to store all health information in one place, making it much easier to compare different health metrics, and share information between services securely and privately.

As with other V0LT software, HealthBox places a heavy emphasis on on privacy. HealthBox puts you in full control of your information. Instead of having to trust a third party, as a HealthBox user, you can review every line of code that goes into making the platform function. HealthBox also gives you full control over what services can access what information.

Private

Privacy is at the core of HealthBox's design. All information is stored locally on the server, and no telemetry information is shared with any third party services.

Offline

While HealthBox can be accessed over the internet for conveinence, it does not require an internet connection to function. HealthBox is fully capable of running offline on your local network for sake of security.

Easy

HealthBox is designed to be easy to use, even for non-technical users. After completing the initial installation process, all management can be done through the web interface.

Modular

HealthBox comes fully ready to use, with support for a wide variety of metrics. However, technical users can implement their own custom metrics and values by modifying configuration files to better fit their use case.

Open

HealthBox is designed to be an open platform that encourages community development. If you have an application that you'd like to integrate with HealthBox, you can follow the included developer documentation to learn how!

Modern

The HealthBox web interface is designed to be modern, lightweight, and easy to understand. Whether you're a power user who wants to dig through configuration options, or you just was an easy, minimal interface, HealthBox accomodates your needs.

Downloads

Since this program is written in PHP, the "Web" and "Source" downloads will be identical. Either of these downloads can be hosted on any compatible webserver, regardless of the operating system.
