Siren/Public Address System
Command attention with a unified horn, siren, and public address system.
Powerful
A siren system acts like your car's horn, but taken to the next level. Whether you're using the siren functionality, the integrated horn feature, or even playing sounds through an audio jack, the siren system will command attention from thousands of feet away.
Customizable
When you get a siren system from V0LT, everything is installed exactly to your preferences. You get to decide where the control panels go, what features you want, and how you want the wiring installed.
Commanding
The buzzer horn integrated into a siren system is great for emergency situations where you absolutely need to command attention. While a traditional stock horn could be subconciously flitered out as daily driving frusterations, a siren horn grabs attention when you need it most.
Durable
V0LT uses similar public addresses systems similar to the ones used by law enforcement. Police officers depend on their sirens to function even after collisions and heavy abuse. Needless to say, your siren system witll be able to handle everything you can realistically throw at it.
Disclaimers
Despite being legal in themselves, it's very easy to get in trouble with how you use a siren system. It should go without saying that you shouldn't play emergency vehicle tones on public roads, or in a place where you may be confused for an emergency vehicle.
By design, siren systems are extremely loud. To prevent hearing damage, avoid activating the horn, sirens, or other tones in closed spaces, or with people directly in front of the car.
Use common sense with when you activate any tones on your siren system. Just like you wouldn't blare your car's stock horn randomly, you shouldn't over-use any of the tones in a siren system. Reserve it for emergencies, and for times when you won't be a nuisance to anyone around you.
Siren systems are extremely powerful, in the sense that they require very high current to function. High current is inherently dangerous, so use caution when working with your siren system after installation. While your system will be installed with thick gauge wire, fuses, and other approriate safety measures, you should be prepared for emergencies regardless.
